Snow Day Packet

SNOW DAY PACKET

Parent/Guardian(s),

Please have students to complete this work to the best of their ability before returning to school ONLY if the district is closed for a declared snow day.  Completion of this packet will substitute for a makeup day at the end of the year.  All directions should be included in the packet. 

You will receive notification that we will have a snow day by the district.  We must reach a high percentage of participation in this effort to have this day waved.  We appreciate your support in this effort!

Dear students and parents,

 The snow day assignment for Day 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5 for each snow day/library class time (4 times a month elementary and 2 times a month middle school) is to read 20-30 minutes. Students are to access a selected resource (see online resources at: http://fhsalmc.blogspot.com/p/media-center-online-resources.html  > Online Resources Overview).  Myon can be accessed up to 2 times but try other resources if multiple library class snow days occur.  If the internet is not available, students may read printed books available at home.  Students should submit their name, English/Language Arts Teacher, and titles read and minutes at: www.fhsalmc.blogspot.com > Class Responses.
