Finding Books in Your Lexile Range


1. Know his/her Lexile (can be found in Myon).

2. Find the Lexile range at https://lexile.com/fab/.

3. Use the Lexile range (minimum number and the maximum number) for a search on OPAC/FHSA Card Catalog.
-Go to the OPAC (on the Symbaloo and under links at www.fhsalmc.blogspot.com)
-Click Search > Lexile > type in minimum lexile and maximum > Click Search
-A list of books will be available in the lexile range.  Copy and paste the list into a Goolge Doc titled My Reading List. 

4. Write down at least 3 call numbers and titles to search for in the media center. Each week, find at least one book to read based on Lexile range.

Note:  Ask about the Accelerated Reader and Lexile Correlation Chart to help in searching for books marked as AR.

LRSD Video Contest


Create a 15 second Instagram Video and upload it onto LRSD’s Instagram Video Contest page on Facebook or on Instagram using #MYLRSD between Jan. 6 at 8 am and Jan. 12 at midnight. Voting will begin at 8am on Jan. 13 and end at midnight on Janury 18. The video with the most votes wins.
